The recovered and completed 2002 site map
The original was not one long page. It used a shared top frame and separate pages or server directories. This restoration preserves that structure with working modern routes. Where Archive.org saved only a filename or directory, a visibly labeled period-style reconstruction completes the path.
- home.shtml: news
- sitcoms.html: show index
- links.html, email.html, and staff.html. These were linked in the original header, but the captures did not survive.
- cheers/ → images/ → character directories
- AIF/ → audio-video/ and images/
- differentstrokes/ → audio-video/ and images/
- 3comp/ → audio-video/ and images/
What survived
19 archived resources: the home and sitcom pages, the navigation frame, six directory indexes, eight original 100×76 gallery thumbnails, and one gallery navigation graphic. The recovered thumbnails are displayed from deterministic 4× enlargements; their scene content has not been generated or changed.
What was reconstructed
The original header artwork, five sitcom card images, seven gallery thumbnails, image-detail pages, family-tree graphic, counters, and the files inside most directories were not captured. Period-style replacements keep the site usable and are labeled “reconstructed” wherever they appear.
